The inspiration for Cep Shroom Fae came as part of a planned series of edible mushrooms! Mushroom hunters regard the cep, or Porcini, as a great prize which has a wonderfully nutty flavor. It's cap can measure anywhere from 2 inches to 12 inches in diameter. It is most often found in wooded areas and along grassy paths, and frequently found near flowering heather and dwarf willow trees. It's season is summer to late autumn.
The Cep shroom fae are very practical faeries, but who know how to have a good time! They take time to enjoy the simple pleasures...like setting atop a shroom and enjoying the great outdoors with all of it's inherent scents, sounds and magic!
As with ANY mushroom, you should never handle or consume mushrooms unless you are absolutely certain of the identity of it and it's safety to eat. And NEVER trust the recommendations of a mushroom-hunting faery who may actually wish to do you harm!
