The Fantasy Art Gathering , as well as at our MySpace page? Joining this Artist Listing is a great opportunity to add
link exposure for
you and your FANTASY ART business, and it's FREE...courtesy of The
Fantasy Art Gathering, and artist Carol Ochs, who administers this
site. I only request that you add a reciprocal link out of courtesy
to this site and the fellow artists listed here, in exchange for your
free Artist page and listing! I also add you to our new My Space page at:

essentially being added to two new connection
places! The Fantasy Art Gathering does not license art work,
nor are we affiliated with any agency, licensing company, or
wholesaling group in any way, so you do not have to worry that joining
us for link exposure will interfere with any of your licensing terms
or agreements. We're merely a link base. You are free to state
on your Artist Page if you ARE licensed through a particular company
if you wish! My
goal is to enhance our overall exposure, and to facilitate a myriad of
viewers, retail & wholesale
shoppers, fantasy art enthusiasts or licensers looking for enchanting fantasy art,

Some of you have
asked me "Why are you doing this...for FREE?" Well, call me
'crazy', but I really believe in the power of networking and the
supportive family that the art community can be. "Success",
for many, is sometimes only
defined by how many coins you tally up at the end of the day, how many
licensing deals you have, or
how widely people know your name. I believe it goes much farther
than that,
to how you treat others along the way, reach-out in mutual support,
and give back to your community, if
only in some small way. We all climb the rungs on the ladder.
This site hopefully benefits us all
and does not require much of you!
It IS *free*, but I do request as payment that you post either the banners or
text links (provided below) to this site from your own site, MySpace
pages, Live Journal pages, other blogs, etc., so we all do our
part to promote it, ...and each other by reciprocal networking! Fair
enough???
Another
"requirement", if you will, is that participating artists be of the
spirit and behavior of mutual support to, and respect of one another.
I reserve the
right to refuse
to promote link exposure to individuals who are unable to fulfill a
positive community
attitude or who display demonstrable rankling behavior within the art
community.....i.e. an example of that would be artists in
online forums putting-down newer or less experienced artists,...behavior such as that.
We've all been in the shoes of being less experienced and more than
anything, need encouragement, positive direction, and appreciation for
our efforts......not put-downs or attitudes that smack of "diva".

that "can" include a wide definition. But to fit into
this heading, please submit info. and art for a website that is indeed
primarily "fantasy"--not just a random piece or two of fantasy art,
so we DO stick to the theme "fantasy art". That is what viewers
are coming for and expecting. Please only submit info for functioning websites
that are NOT "under construction" or "due to open soon". As soon
as it's officially open, I'll be happy to list it...but wait to submit
your info until then. Also, since this The Fantasy Art
Gathering site originates here in the U.S.A., please have
your info. link to an English-speaking page if you have a
multi-lingual site. All art subject to approval
re: content. No pornography, illegal, immoral, unethical sites or even
questionably borderline unethical material. Sites containing the
aforementioned, even if submitted art samples do not, will not be included. And
yes...I do go check. I will also not post art samples on this
site that have explicit gore, a lot of blood, sexual or excessive skin exposure content.
No nipples, genitalia, or barely-thonged crotches. Think
"fantasy light to medium", to be listed here. If

have a functional business website, an on-line retail shopping cart
where your art can be purchased from. A link to your page at
Ellen Million Graphics, Deviant Art , Cafe Press, Zazzle, or a similarly run site for
purchasing your art is acceptable.
Non-professional appearing, or poorly-navigated websites will not be included.
If you sell wholesale, please have info. at-the-ready to provide to
interested wholesale clients, including a pricing schedule, shipping info., lead
times, etc. and have this info already in-place to provide
to inquiring customers. You are expected to respond to client info.
requests in a prompt and timely manner. If you are not ready to
do this, please do not have me list you as (W) = Wholesale. All transactions are to
be conducted in a professional manner. Complaints in this regard may
yield you becoming unlisted from this site. If you are not
currently functioning as a professional art business, please do not
submit your site/art as promo-ing of this site is clearly to entice
wholesale clients and serve their buying needs. There are plenty
of non-business venues to showcase art at.
You are
responsible for any transactions and follow-through on your end of the
artist/customer relationship. The
Fantasy Art Gathering is in no way responsible for your business
transactions or verification of client info. or funds. We are
merely a crossroads resource for links and referrals.

Application as a template or guideline to help you, or this
page for other
terms to consider, mull, decide in setting up your own art business
terms. These are just "my" own personal terms and you should develop your own
modifications to suit yourself; ...I just ask that you have terms
in-place before listing with this site as a wholesaler. If you appear and behave
as a professional, then WE (collectively) appear and behave as

you want listed on your artist page and an
icon/avatar-sized photo of yourself no bigger than 100 X 100 pixels in
.jpg format. (Personal pic optional.) Your location, if you'd
like it listed.....i.e. city, country, whatever you prefer. 2)
List:
Website(s): Indicate an (R) or (W) for each site. (R=Retail,
W=Wholesale, after each site so viewers will know what you offer.
3)
List business name, (no more than 20-word description),
and full url of site address.
4)
Contact Info.: E-mail, Fax, Phone, Toll-free phone.
5)
Additional Comments: (This would
be a great spot to list links to your wholesale application, ebay
store link, or any special points about your business!)
6) Attach
up to but no more than 6 art works per art
business, each no larger than 200 pixels on largest side, in .jpg format. Please watermark your art to avoid copyright theft.
No nudes (even tasteful), please. Visitors can view these at your
own site, but please do not include as submitted samples for this
site. It just makes it easier for me to not have to deal with
complaints by those easily offended by skin displays. It's not a reflection of my own art tastes. Thanks.

re-sizing pics to these specifications, I'll do it for you...but it
would save me time if you can send them this size...thanks!)

List what Art-By-Theme categories (see below and choose
from) you would like your
name listed under and which website url...i.e. Faeries, Dragons, Wizards. (feel free to suggest
more, but first see if an existing category fits).

holiday art, send me up to 6 (additional) art works - holiday-themed -
so I can create/add-to a Slide.com display for the Holiday Art page that
attracts viewers to that specific type art!
